From the coral reefs in the deep ocean to the wetlands of the Everglades, the FIU Institute of Environment is advancing the science and technology needed to address complex water and environmental issues locally, nationally and globally. The Institute supports interdisciplinary research, interactive education, and public engagement by linking top scientists with thought-leaders and business professionals, as well as local, state, and federal collaborators to foster environmental sustainability.
