Speaker: Dr. Steven McNulty Director of Southeast Regional Climate Hub U.S. Department of Agriculture

 

Bio: Steven McNulty is the Director of the USDA Southeast Climate Hub, located in Research Triangle Park, NC. He has a Ph.D. in Natural Resources from the University of New Hampshire and has spent over 30 years researching environmental stress impacts and adaptive management options for forests, and most recently for agriculture and rangelands. Dr. McNulty has authored over 250 papers and he has contributed to many national and international assessments on climate change impacts on ecosystems. Dr. McNulty has served as a US Congressional Fellow, Climate Change Chair of the North American Forestry Commission, and on the IUFRO Global Forest Expert Panel. He is the recipient of US Forest Service Distinguished Scientist Award, among other honors.
