All FIU School of Music concerts and events scheduled through the spring semester are cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.  The decision has been made out of an abundance of caution with the health and well-being of our guests and community in mind. Welcome to the ninth and final New Music Miami Festival (NMMF) concert of the year featuring the acclaimed Amernet String Quartet and New World Symphony Orchestra pianist Michael Linville performing works by Chen Yi, Garcia, Stucky, and Sudol. This concert will feature works for string quartet and piano quintet. With guest composer Chen Yi.

Join us for a pre-concert discussion of works at 7:00 pm, to be followed by a performance at 7:30pm. The festival discussions and concerts are free to the public, no ticket required.
