Main Event Schedule:

  • FIU Proud Parent & Family Mixer, 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM, Everglades Lounge, Everglades Hall - This is a great opportunity for parents and family members to interact with members of the FIU community, show your Panther Pride, and celebrate your student! *Co-sponsored by Housing & Residential Life
  • Roar Lounge, 4:30-6:30 PM, Parkview Hall Multipurpose Room, Parkview Hall - Prior to kick-off, join the FIU Alumni Association at the Roar Lounge tailgate for food, drinks and A/C. Enjoy a meal, soda, entertainment and Panther spirit swag. A cash bar will also be available.
  • FIU Football vs. Western Kentucky Hilltoppers, 7:00 PM, Riccardo Silva Stadium - Cheer our Panthers on to a victory in our Homecoming game against WKU! Make sure to wear your FIU gear and get excited to be a part of our traditional halftime Homecoming festivities!

Statement of Free Expression

FIU endorses the Florida Board of Governors' Statement of Free Expression to support and encourage full and open discourse and the robust exchange of ideas and perspectives on our campuses. In addition to supporting this legal right, we view this as an integral part of our ability to deliver a high-quality academic experience for our students, engage in meaningful and productive research, and provide valuable public service. This includes fostering civil and open dialogue in support of critical thinking in and out of the classroom, including events hosted by the university.
