Join the Steven J. Green School of International and Public Affairs for the Annual Nirvan Lecture by newly appointed Bhagwan Mahavir Assistant Professor Aleksandra Restifo.
Dr. Restifo completed her PhD in Asian Religions at Yale University and held postdoctoral research positions at the University of Oxford and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Her research centers on medieval and early modern Jain literature with a focus on the study of emotion and its role in ritual and social culture. Her work has been published in the Journal of Indian Philosophy, Religions, and International Journal of Jaina Studies, among others.
