This special opening concert will feature the innovative works of guest composer Laura Schwendinger, alongside the renowned Amernet String Quartet, FIU's Artist-in-Residence Ensemble. About NMMF: For 28 years, NMMF has been at the forefront of avant-garde music, presenting exceptional compositions and performances in the heart of Miami. Our festival showcases trailblazing composers and boundary-pushing performers from around the globe, many of whom engage directly with FIU students and audiences to discuss their work.
