This Friday, the NeighborhoodHELP Outreach Team in partnership with HWCOM Behavioral Health and our Community Partner, Children’s Bereavement Center, is hosting our Amara’s Guiding Light -2nd Annual Amara's Day of Kindness Workshop and Panel Discussion. Amara’s Guiding Light is an initiative through which we honor the life of Amara Rodriguez-Miyares who is a former member of our NeighborhoodHELP Outreach Team. This initiative is aimed at increasing awareness of domestic violence through community engagement and acts of service.

Throughout the day, we also encourage everyone to do acts of kindness in honor of Amara and post pictures or posts about them using the hashtag: #AmarasDayofKindness.
