The feature film Adiós Cuba explores the Cuban exile experience, a theme more relevant than ever given the migratory wave of recent years, with Spain and the United States receiving much of that diaspora. In the director’s words, “The film tells the stories of those who left, of the struggle to keep Cuban identity alive in a context of uprooting. I’m very satisfied with the result because the effort and dedication of the entire team was monumental.” The film, featuring an outstanding cast that includes Yuliet Cruz, Frank Moreno, Betiza Bismark, and Grisell Monzón, had its world premiere at the 42nd edition of the Miami Film Festival with the support of ArtesMiami and FlixLatino.

This event is free and open to the public. Space is limited and RSVP is strongly recommended. To confirm your attendance, please write cri@fiu.edu or call (305) 348–1991. It will be held in Spanish. Eventbrite Tickets for this event are SOLD OUT since 4/26
