DESCRIPTION:Join us on Wednesday\, July 30\, 2025 for a talk by Alon Skuy\,
  a photographer whose career has been defined by his depth and range as a n
 ews and documentary photographer.\n\nSkuy was in Haiti during the aftermath
  of the 2010 earthquake as a photographer for The Times in South Africa. He
  bore witness to the destruction of downtown Port-Au-Prince and the violent
  clampdown by local authorities seeking to restore the order.\n\nThis event
  is made possible with funding from LACC's U.S. Department of Education's T
