This virtual lecture is a review of the relationship between America and Cuba  from before the Ostend Manifesto to the US intervention in the revolution against Spain, to the years of protectorate, the Castro revolution,  Bay of Pigs, Missile Crisis, the opening of American embassy in 2015 to the re-imposition of sanctions and travel restrictions by Trump in 2020.
