Students from the Art History program share their completed catalog projects and give informal talks about their research, process, and discoveries. These presentations create an open space for conversation around art historical ideas, curatorial thinking, and the broader contexts that inform each student’s work.

E.M.E.R.G.E Review Week

From November 17 – November 21, the Department of Art + Art History (A+AH) at FIU enters E.M.E.R.G.E., a full week dedicated to critique, exhibition, and artistic discourse.

Regular classes pause, shifting the focus to in-depth feedback, public presentations, and critical engagement. This is not a break—it’s an opportunity to push the work further, to take creative ownership, and to be fully immersed in the process.
