Miami Art Week is a jam-packed week of festivities, and the scale has gotten larger than ever. Art is being showcased across the area, featuring artists from many backgrounds. JMOF-FIU is proud to exhibit art created and curated by talented female artists. From a Venezuelan-born painter interpreting some of the most influential moments in her life, to a photography and poetry duo from Amsterdam emphasizing the importance of one person’s work to save thousands of Jewish people during World War II, and to local and nationally renowned artists highlighting and reflecting today’s social issues, the women featured at JMOF-FIU during Miami Art Week share their experiences and celebrate their culture.
