ArtWeek2018: Fragments—An Exhibition of BFA students

This is a past event.

Friday, December 7, 2018 at 9:00am to 5:00pm

Miami Beach Urban Studios, Main Gallery

This is an annual exhibition of the final work of undergraduate students in visual arts.  This year's title is called fragment, and harkens back to the isolated or incomplete part of something.  In this case, it could be a work of art, or an education, a career, or a view of the world.  This exhibition is much anticipated each year because it might be considered the first expression of a future generation of artists.

Statement of Free Expression

FIU endorses the Florida Board of Governors' Statement of Free Expression to support and encourage full and open discourse and the robust exchange of ideas and perspectives on our campuses. In addition to supporting this legal right, we view this as an integral part of our ability to deliver a high-quality academic experience for our students, engage in meaningful and productive research, and provide valuable public service. This includes fostering civil and open dialogue in support of critical thinking in and out of the classroom, including events hosted by the university.
