The BizGap program is an exciting new local initiative that has secured funding from the U.S. Business Administration (SBA) to expand its successful Business Growth and Acceleration Program (BizGap) to District 27. BizGap will dedicate business consultants to assist small businesses located within District 27 with in-community and in-language consulting and training in key areas, such as government contracting, access to capital, financial literacy, and startup assistance. 

This local Resource Fair will bring together small business organizations from around the County to connect directly with FL-27 businesses. Meet one-on-one with these community groups who can help you access resources and information to start and grow your business. Sign up today!

El programa BizGap es una nueva y emocionante iniciativa local que ha obtenido fondos de la Administración de Empresas de los Estados Unidos (SBA) para expandir su exitoso Programa de Crecimiento y Aceleración de Negocios (BizGap) al Distrito 27. BizGap dedicará consultores de negocios para ayudar a las pequeñas empresas ubicadas dentro del Distrito 27 con consultoría y capacitación en la comunidad y en el idioma en áreas clave, tales como contratación gubernamental, acceso al capital, educación financiera y asistencia de lanzamientos.

Esta Feria de Recursos local reunirá organizaciones de pequeñas empresas de todo el Condado para conectarse directamente con empresas de FL-27. Statement of Free Expression

FIU endorses the Florida Board of Governors' Statement of Free Expression to support and encourage full and open discourse and the robust exchange of ideas and perspectives on our campuses. In addition to supporting this legal right, we view this as an integral part of our ability to deliver a high-quality academic experience for our students, engage in meaningful and productive research, and provide valuable public service. This includes fostering civil and open dialogue in support of critical thinking in and out of the classroom, including events hosted by the university.
