About the book:
Para un cordero blanco is a collection of poems by Reina María Rodríguez. She is considered one of the most important voices of contemporary Cuban poetry, the work is characterized by its depth, its risky, intense, dynamic and above all confessional nature. It is a reflection of her life, of difficulties and of memory. Leonardo Padura, president of the jury of the 2013 National Literature Prize, pointed out that Reina María's work "has filled an essential space in the contemporary Cuban poetry scene, with high aesthetic, ethical and conceptual quality."
