On November 2nd, the Ethiopian government and the Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF) signed a peace deal that marked the first step in the process to end a brutal two-year war. The conflict claimed the lives of thousands, with growing allegations of serious human rights violations (including war crimes), and millions are now in need of humanitarian assistance.
