Brazil is one of the world’s megadiverse countries. With a wide array of ecosystems, from the hyper-diverse Atlantic Forest to the Pantanal wetlands to the vast Amazon, the country is home to a large portion of the world’s flora and fauna. Join us as three experts discuss the challenges to conservation of that immense biological diversity. Our speakers will discuss approaches to the protection of individual species, how interactions among species are key to ecosystem recovery, and the pros and cons of Brazil’s current system of protected lands.
