Every two years, the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI) honors newly elected and re-elected Hispanic members of Congress through a swearing-in ceremony and reception. These leaders play a crucial role in advancing issues that matter to the Latino community and ensuring that Hispanic voices are heard at the highest levels of government.

The highly anticipated Swearing-in celebrates and recognizes Latino leadership in Congress, while raising awareness of the need to build a stronger pipeline of Latino leadership and secure more equitable representation for our community.

Open to the public, this year’s event is expected to draw hundreds of Latino leaders and influencers. Secure your ticket today to connect with the Members of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus (CHC), community leaders, policy makers, and the CHCI network.

Statement of Free Expression

FIU endorses the Florida Board of Governors' Statement of Free Expression to support and encourage full and open discourse and the robust exchange of ideas and perspectives on our campuses. In addition to supporting this legal right, we view this as an integral part of our ability to deliver a high-quality academic experience for our students, engage in meaningful and productive research, and provide valuable public service. This includes fostering civil and open dialogue in support of critical thinking in and out of the classroom, including events hosted by the university.
