Abstract Let I be a union of intervals of total length 1. It is well known that exponential bases exist on L²(I), but explicit expressions for such bases are only known in special cases. In this work, we construct exponential Riesz bases on L²(I) with some mild assumptions on the gaps between the intervals. We also generalize Kadec's stability theorem in some special and significant cases.
