Dr. Rodolfo J. Galindo completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and his fellowship in Endocrinology at North Shore University Hospital in New York. He spent several years at Emory University as a clinical investigator focused on diabetes and obesity. Currently, he serves as director of the Comprehensive Diabetes Center at the University of Miami.

Galindo’s areas of interest include the management of diabetes, obesity, and chronic kidney disease through the use of emerging technologies. His research is supported by the National Institutes of Health and the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases. He has contributed to national and international diabetes care guidelines, including the AACE Algorithm for the Management of Type 2 Diabetes (2023), the ADA/EASD Guidelines for the Management of Diabetic Ketoacidosis (2023–2024), and the ADA Standards of Care in Diabetes (2024–2025).
