Step into a world of musical innovation and passion as the Wertheim School of Music proudly presents the FIU Saxophone Chamber Recital, featuring the reinvigorated FIU Saxophone Quartet and the inaugural performance of the FIU Saxophone Ensemble. Led by the esteemed Professor Noah J. Brisson, this concert promises an evening of unparalleled saxophone artistry and collective talent.

The FIU SAXOPHONE QUARTET (FIUSQ) programs standard and modern works, as well as transcriptions of string quartets and various other repertoire. FIUSQ was re-established in 2022 under the supervision of Professor Noah J. Brisson. The Quartet takes pride in pushing its musical limits. The quartet works tirelessly on mastering their repertoire and regularly showcase’s their group through outreach to high-schools in South Florida.

The FIU SAXOPHONE ENSEMBLE was founded by Professor Noah J. Brisson in 2024 and is the first saxophone ensemble at FIU. This group is a collection of twelve saxophonists that have come together to make this ensemble possible. This performance will serve as the ensembles inaugural performance and will feature transcriptions and original compositions for saxophone ensemble.
