Thursday, April 18, 2024 3:45pm to 4:45pm

11200 SW 8th ST, Deuxieme Maison, Miami, Florida 33199

Speaker: Eduardo Teixeira, University of Central Florida

Title: Critical point regularity theory

Abstract: The concept of non-physical free boundaries has initiated a significant shift in the study of diffusive PDEs, uncovering optimal regularity results that were previously beyond our imagination. In this presentation, I aim to offer a comprehensive overview of the theory of non-physical free boundaries, focusing particularly on sharp regularity of solutions at critical points.
