 ure through arts\, education\, and community engagement.\n\nThrough a pers
 onal and cultural journey spanning Haiti and Canada\, Professor Bain will 
 reflect on the experiences that shaped his commitment to preserving and pr
 omoting Creole language\, identity\, and heritage. The lecture will also h
 ighlight the importance of cultural transmission\, literacy\, and the arts
  in strengthening communities and celebrating the richness of Creole cultu
 res across the global diaspora.\n\nThis presentation will be in Haitian Cr
 eole. Part of LACC’s Foreign Languages Across the Curriculum (FLAC) Lect
 ure Series and LACC’s Haitian Studies Program of Excellence.
