Title: Beginner’s Guide to Scientific Publishing: 10 Tips from an Editor by Dr. Elizabeth Anderson, FIU Associate Professor

Abstract:


This talk will offer basic guidance on the publishing process in scientific journals. We’ll go over some of the strengths of excellent manuscripts and some of the pitfalls frequently encountered in the editorial process. The talk will also include a short workshop component to help with planning the writing process for your next (or current) manuscript.
