 . Bauerle Centennial Professorship\nin the Division of Pharmacology at the
  University\nof Texas at Austin. He has a medical degree from\nIndia\, a P
 h.D. in Cell Biology from New York\nMedical College\, and he completed his
 \npostdoctoral fellowship at Carnegie Mellon\nUniversity. He started his i
 ndependent career at\nUT Austin in 2013\, was promoted to Associate\nProfe
 ssor in 2019\, and Professor in 2025. Dr.\nMukhopadhyay's research focuses
  on gene\nenvironment interactions in parkinsonism. He has\nbeen continuou
 sly funded by the NIH since 2013\n(over $10 million in NIH funding). His w
 ork is\nroutinely published in high impact and selective\njournals (e.g.\,
  PNAS\, etc.) and covered in feature\narticles (e.g.\, NIH/NIEHS Paper of 
 the Year 2019).\nHe holds several influential leadership positions in\nint
 ernational organizations (e.g.\, at Society of\nToxicology\, International
  Society for Trace\nElement Research in Humans). He is a standing\nmember 
 of the NIH NAL study section.
