The School of Universal Computing, Construction, and Engineering Education (SUCCEED) invites you to join us on November 28th for its Engineering & Computing Education Ph.D. Program Open House for Fall 2023 admission. The open house will include a poster presentation showcase by current Ph.D. students, networking with faculty and research community members of SUCCEED, and a chance to learn how our program can be a right fit for you!

We’re excited to show you how the first engineering and computing education program at a minority-serving institution meets the critical needs facing engineering students, particularly in equity, diversity, and inclusion. Attendees can also attend the Engineering & Computing Education Research Methods in Context graduate course instructed by Dr. Alexandra Coso Strong after the event to get a sense of what our courses are like.

Statement of Free Expression

FIU endorses the Florida Board of Governors' Statement of Free Expression to support and encourage full and open discourse and the robust exchange of ideas and perspectives on our campuses. In addition to supporting this legal right, we view this as an integral part of our ability to deliver a high-quality academic experience for our students, engage in meaningful and productive research, and provide valuable public service. This includes fostering civil and open dialogue in support of critical thinking in and out of the classroom, including events hosted by the university.
