DESCRIPTION:Please join us for a timely conference examining how the climat
e crisis is reshaping justice\, inclusion and responsibility in EU environm
ental politics. While climate change is a global challenge\, its impacts—an
d the benefits of mitigation—are deeply unequal. Socio-economic\, ethnic an
d social minorities\, often least responsible for emissions\, face dispropo
rtionate exposure and limited support. This conference asks urgent question
s: How can climate policies address intersectional vulnerabilities? How can
sustainability efforts avoid reproducing inequality? And how can the EU an
d its partners reconcile competing priorities while advancing environmental
and social justice? Bringing together scholars\, policymakers and practiti
oners\, the conference explores transatlantic\, local and global pathways t
oward a greener\, more equitable future.
