The Miami-Florida Jean Monnet Center of Excellence would like to share this upcoming event organized and hosted by The European Studies Center/European Union Center of Excellence (ESC/EUCE) along with the Center for Russian, East European, and Eurasian Studies (REEES) at the University of Pittsburgh.

On October 26th, 12:30pm ET, we will focus our attention on Czech Republic. Paweł Lewicki, associate director of the ESC at Pitt will discuss with European experts about the EU prior to the Czech Republic EU accession as well as how Czech Republic and the EU changed in 20 years of the membership.

Statement of Free Expression

FIU endorses the Florida Board of Governors' Statement of Free Expression to support and encourage full and open discourse and the robust exchange of ideas and perspectives on our campuses. In addition to supporting this legal right, we view this as an integral part of our ability to deliver a high-quality academic experience for our students, engage in meaningful and productive research, and provide valuable public service.
