LISA GLATT is the author of the novels The Nakeds and A Girl Becomes a Comma Like That, a finalist for the Los Angeles Times first fiction award. She has also published a collection of stories, The Apple’s Bruise, and two books of poetry, Shelter and Monsters & Other Lovers. Her work has appeared in such magazines as Zoetrope: All-Story, Gulf Coast, Mississippi Review, Indiana Review, Pearl, The Sun, and Salon.com. Lisa teaches at California State University, Long Beach and is married to writer David Hernandez.
DAVID HERNANDEZ’s most recent collection of poetry is Dear, Sincerely (University of Pittsburgh Press, 2016). His other books include Hoodwinked, winner of the Kathryn A. Morton Prize in Poetry, Always Danger, winner of the Crab Orchard Series, and A House Waiting for Music. He has been awarded an NEA Literature Fellowship and two Pushcart Prizes. He is also the author of two YA novels, No More Us for You and Suckerpunch, both published by HarperCollins. David teaches creative writing at California State University, Long Beach and is married to writer Lisa Glatt.
