Fire Safety/Extinguisher Training provides instructions on reading evacuation maps, identifying different types of fires, knowing which extinguishers are used according to fire type, and much more!

This course is a classroom session combined with a practical session, in which you will actually use extinguishers to put out real fires!

There are three ways you can let us know you are coming!

ONE - FIU Faculty and Staff only - Officially enroll via FIU's professional development site:

- Sign in using your employee credentials
- Click on the enroll tab
- Click on Environmental Health and Safety
- Select section
- Click on confirm pending enrollment

TWO - Any member of the University - Send an email to ehstrain@fiu.edu. Please provide the course name and date with your email.
