Florida International University is excited to welcome you as you begin a new year as a Panther! After the first day of classes on August 25, join us on the field at FIU's newly renamed Pitbull Stadium for Panthers’ F1RST NIGHT. This university tradition combines a formal welcome ceremony, hosted by the FIU President, college deans, and other distinguished faculty and staff, with a night of music and entertainment alongside your fellow Panthers.

Get to know current students and alumni, and interact with dozens of clubs, organizations and programs at FIU to learn how to get involved in our vibrant campus life. Panthers’ F1RST NIGHT is the perfect kickoff to an unforgettable first year at FIU!

This event is open to all students. Attendance is strongly encouraged for all first-year and incoming transfer students who entered FIU in the Summer or Fall 2025 semesters.
