Join the Jaffer Center for Muslim World Studies at FIU as we hold our annual interfaith Iftar dinner in observance of Ramadan. The holy month of Ramadan is observed by Muslims worldwide. According to Islamic belief, it commemorates the first revelation of the Quran from Allah (God) to the Prophet Muhammad, through the angel Gabriel. This interfaith Iftar dinner is a communal breaking of the fast that welcomes Muslims and non-Muslims alike to come together in a celebratory meal. It will begin with a short program followed by Maghrib prayer and then dinner.

This event is free and open to the public; however, RSVP is required.
