Join us for an engaging group discussion on the latest substance use research updates from R Lorraine Collins, PhD. Dr. Collins is currently a SUNY Distinguished Professor and Associate Dean for Research for the Department of Community Health and Health Behavior at the University at Buffalo, State University of New York.

Dr. Collins is a psychologist who has conducted NIH-funded addictions research for decades. Her research interests include:

  • Cognitive and behavioral approaches to the conceptualization, prevention, and treatment of addictive behaviors
  • The role of policy in cannabis/substance use
  • The role of psycho-social factors (e.g., gender, ethnicity) and mental health issues
