We invite you to join us on Friday, April 19, 2024 at CBC 240, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., for our upcoming FIU-RCMI Professional Development Workshop, Statistical Methods for Genome-Wide Association Studies.

This event will feature Dr. Hongyu Zhao, who is the Ira V. Hiscock Professor of Biostatistics, Professor of Genetics, and Professor of Statistics and Data Science at Yale University. His research interests include:

  • The developments and applications of statistical methods in molecular biology
  • Genetics, drug developments, and precision medicine with a focus on genome-wide association studies
  • Biobank analysis and single cell analysis
