Dr. Hesselbrock has over 40 years of experience conducting prospective studies of children, adolescents and young adults at risk for developing poor outcomes, including alcohol and drug related problems and related conditions. Dr. Hesselbrock chairs the Health Center’s Scientific Advisory Committee for the General Clinical Research Center. He has served on and chaired study sections for NIAAA, NIMH and NIDA.
