Join us for an FIU-RCMI Professional Development Workshop, Research Electronic Data Capture (REDCap) Information Session, hosted by Stephanie Garcia, MPH.

REDCap is a scalable, web-based electronic data capture system that allows users to input data or build an online survey or database over a secure web connection. REDCap features authentication, auto-logout setting, data logging (audit trails for tracking data manipulation and export procedures), user privileges (each user only has access to the granted projects; privileges are granular on the project level) and many more. While REDCap can be used to collect virtually any type of data, it is specifically geared to support online or offline data capture for research studies and operations.

This event will be hosted on Friday, October 9, 2020 from 12 - 1:30pm.

If you would like to attend, RSVP here by October 7 and the Zoom login will be provided.

Statement of Free Expression

FIU endorses the Florida Board of Governors' Statement of Free Expression to support and encourage full and open discourse and the robust exchange of ideas and perspectives on our campuses. In addition to supporting this legal right, we view this as an integral part of our ability to deliver a high-quality academic experience for our students, engage in meaningful and productive research, and provide valuable public service. This includes fostering civil and open dialogue in support of critical thinking in and out of the classroom, including events hosted by the university.
