DESCRIPTION:FIU in Washington D.C. invites all FIU Panthers in D.C. to part
 icipte in this multidisciplinary event in its hybrid format!\n\nAERC brings
  together U.S. research programs in universities and private\, state and fe
 deral laboratories that conduct research\, provide training and analyze pol
 icy at the ecosystem level of environmental science and natural resources m
 anagement. These centers are located throughout the U.S. mainland\, as well
  as Alaska and Puerto Rico. Their scientists\, who number more than 500\, c
 onduct a major share of the ecosystem research in the United States.​\nThe 
 goal of the AERC is to promote the optimal use of limited scientific resour
 ces in the search for solutions to complex\, large-scale environmental prob
 lems.\n\nWe welcome our Panthers on Septermber 14\, 2022 to join us in our 
 Washington D.C. building\, as well as virtually via Zoom.
