Florida International University invites you to an interactive workshop and briefing on Climate and Health Equity as FIU launches its Population Health Initiative.

As challenges to global climate conditions continue, so do their linkages to important areas of population health.  Risks to human health will grow, exacerbating existing health threats and creating new public health challenges. Of particular concern is the impact that extreme heat, poor air quality, flooding, extreme weather events, and vector borne diseases have on disadvantaged communities.
