Each year, the BEYA STEM Conference brings professionals and students together for three days to share their experiences and career information.

The goal of the BEYA Conference is to create connections between students, educators and science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) professionals while facilitating partnerships with local STEM resources.

Students attend the career fair and meet employers, take advantage of onsite resources designed to enhance job search, their academic career, and get tools for a successful STEM career.

Sponsors and exhibitors enhance their visibility in the STEM community and recruit new hires.

Other events at BEYA are the Emerald Honors and Trailblazers Dinner, seminars and workshops, and the HBCU Engineering schools’ presentations. It’s your opportunity to learn about the cutting-edge research taking place at these institutions.

The Pre-College Program is also an opportunity for you to connect with the organizations that are working to build tomorrow’s STEM workforce.  Whether you are in the job market or not, don’t miss the career fair

Statement of Free Expression

FIU endorses the Florida Board of Governors' Statement of Free Expression to support and encourage full and open discourse and the robust exchange of ideas and perspectives on our campuses. In addition to supporting this legal right, we view this as an integral part of our ability to deliver a high-quality academic experience for our students, engage in meaningful and productive research, and provide valuable public service. This includes fostering civil and open dialogue in support of critical thinking in and out of the classroom, including events hosted by the university.
