1PM: Leadership Workshop
This mini-session facilitated by a leadership development expert will highlight examples of effective leadership from throughout our nation's history and teach you how to apply them successful in your internship roles. Guest: Dr. Joe Stoltz, George Washington's Mount Vernon

3PM: What's Next?
This two-part session will make sure your Fall internship experience leads to your next big move toward your career goals.  First, summer interns will share their advice for being effective and getting noticed in an internship, including virtually.  Then, FIU's new Director of Prestigious Scholar Development, Dr. Ashley Kuntz, will address how to identify highly competitive national scholarships and fellowships next semester and beyond.

Statement of Free Expression

FIU endorses the Florida Board of Governors' Statement of Free Expression to support and encourage full and open discourse and the robust exchange of ideas and perspectives on our campuses. In addition to supporting this legal right, we view this as an integral part of our ability to deliver a high-quality academic experience for our students, engage in meaningful and productive research, and provide valuable public service. This includes fostering civil and open dialogue in support of critical thinking in and out of the classroom, including events hosted by the university.
