Pursuant to Section 1004.098(2)(a) of Florida Statutes, FIU’s Presidential Search Committee will hold the meeting(s) listed above as closed session(s), which is exempt from Section 286.011, Florida Statutes, and Section 24(b), Article I of the State Constitution, since the meeting(s) are being held for the purpose of identifying or vetting applicants for the position of president of Florida International University and will include the disclosure of personal identifying information of such applicants.
