Prepare for an anticipated evening as the FIU Symphonic Band and FIUsion, under the baton of Director of Bands Barry Bernhardt, present his final concert at FIU before retirement.

The concert opens with Bernhardt and Matthew Torres conducting a selection of captivating pieces like Franco Cesarini's "Five Scenes from Mark Twain Op. 27" and Kelijah Dunton's "Stillwater," setting the stage for a memorable music journey. Renowned tubist Patrick Sheridan will then join the stage for the final segment, featuring his unique arrangements of classics alongside heartfelt renditions.

This concert not only celebrates new concert band literature but also honors Bernhardt's illustrious career and dedication to FIU. Don't miss this opportunity to experience the power and beauty of wind, brass, and percussion instruments brought to life by the FIU Symphonic Band as it bids farewell to its beloved ensemble director.
