The Wind and Percussion Concert Series is proud to present the first concert with the FIU Wind Ensemble entitled “Sound & Vision: The World Alive.” This concert will feature Michael Daugherty’s tribute to Desi Arnaz and a consortium premiere of Steve Danyew’s "Into the Silent Land," a poignant tribute to those lost in the Sandy Hook School tragedy. There will also be a multi-media work inspired by the photography of Ansel Adams “The World Alive.”
