Join us for a timely conversation on the evolving landscape of Jewish–Muslim relations in light of the Abraham Accords and other regional political developments. This event brings together students, faculty and community partners to explore new approaches to interfaith understanding, shared civic responsibility and cooperative engagement in South Florida and beyond. Through dialogue and reflection, we will consider opportunities for collaboration in academic, civic and community spaces, the role of education and storytelling in countering mistrust and practical steps FIU can take to support sustained engagement. This gathering fosters inquiry, mutual respect and meaningful international connections rooted in FIU’s commitment to pluralism and global learning.

Guest Speakers

Our guest speakers are young leaders from Sharaka, a groundbreaking initiative that fosters understanding between Arabs and Israelis. Statement of Free Expression

FIU endorses the Florida Board of Governors' Statement of Free Expression to support and encourage full and open discourse and the robust exchange of ideas and perspectives on our campuses. In addition to supporting this legal right, we view this as an integral part of our ability to deliver a high-quality academic experience for our students, engage in meaningful and productive research, and provide valuable public service. This includes fostering civil and open dialogue in support of critical thinking in and out of the classroom, including events hosted by the university.
