Elizabeth Hauser, Ph.D., is a professor in the Department of Biostatistics and Bioinformatics at Duke University, with secondary appointments in medicine, statistical science and nursing. A statistical geneticist with graduate degrees in biostatistics and epidemiology, she develops statistical methods for analyzing complex genetic traits, including genetic analysis of family data, identification of gene-environment interactions, and integrated analysis of metabolomic and genomic data. Her research has contributed to studies on cardiovascular disease, diabetes, kidney disease, aging and cancer.
