This presentation will introduce the innovative research that is taking place at the Defense Forensic Science Center (DFSC) located in Forest Park, Georgia. Attendees will learn more about the Office of the Chief Scientist (the Research, Development, Test & Evaluation arm of DFSC) including its mission, capabilities, research projects, and the impact that the research projects deliver to the organization. Additionally, attendees will learn about internship opportunities at DFSC such as the Army Educational Outreach Program (AEOP) and the Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education (ORISE).
