An internationally recognized tobacco control researcher, Faseru focuses on integrating evidence-based tobacco treatment into health care systems and community settings. He directs the Kansas Tobacco Treatment Specialist Training Program and leads initiatives that expand smoking cessation capacity among public health, health care and school professionals. A fellow of the Society for Research on Nicotine and Tobacco, Faseru has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and contributes to national and global efforts to advance tobacco dependence treatment and population health.
