On October 3, The Exile Studies Program will launch its 2022-2023 Lecture Series entitled Giving Voice to Exile: The Privileges and Burdens of Inheritance. Mr. Mitchell Kaplan will present the first of the four planned lectures. As a much-admired bookseller, founder of the nationally renowned bookstore, Books and Books, and originator of the world-famous Miami Book Fair International, Mr. Kaplan has contributed handsomely to Miami’s cultural and intellectual landscapes. 

The lecture will take place on Monday, October 3, at 6:45PM in the Student Academic Success Center (SASC), Multipurpose Room 100.  

We hope you will be able to attend. Please encourage your students, colleagues and friends to attend what promises to be a lively and intellectually enriching event.
