Please join us welcoming Ph.D student Oleg Asipchuk for this week's graduate student seminar.  Oleg will be covering the construction of exponential bases on split intervals. 

Our Graduate Student Seminar gives students the ability to showcase interesting results that they have found in their research. Presenters are typically graduate students in mathemathematics, but can also be undergraduates, students in other disiplines, and faculty as well. 

Presentations should be able to be understood by undergraduate students in mathematics or related disipline.

Abstract: We considered the space L2(I), where I is a union of intervals of total length 1. We constructed an exponential Riesz basis on such space with some restrictions on the gaps between the intervals. Also, we prove a stability theorem when I is a union of two intervals.
