Make a positive impact in your community!

One of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world, GSK (formerly GlaxoSmithKline), continually searches for innovative ways to reduce health disparities. Now, GSK is turning to FIU students to collaborate on an exciting new innovation challenge at StartUP FIU.

Undergraduate students from all schools and colleges are invited to participate. Those interested in data analytics, healthcare, community engagement, business, public health, social innovation, or health equity will be able to bring their ideas to life.

This 12-week challenge, during the S2023 semester, will inspire students to develop solutions to address health disparities with the goals of preventing disease and lowering the burden of healthcare costs.

Students selected for the challenge will have the opportunity to creatively tackle real-life problems guided by experts from a globally recognized pharma leader.
